Program Service options focus on
opportunities for inclusion and independence in a variety of
settings. Those we serve may select one or a combination of
component services.
Our Residential Program provides
a variety of living situations that include group homes and
supportive living arrangements. The consumers' needs
determine staff patterns. Staff coverage ranges from 24 hour
day to as needed visits to assist with meal planning, shopping,
social and recreational community involvement. Plans are in
place which allow the individuals to reach their maximum potential
while enjoying residential facilities that are second to none.
The MHDS Vocational Training
Workshop enables the development of various levels of work
experience in our sheltered workshop. Contract work from
area business and industry provides income to those in training.
Supported Employment provides an
individual with the training and support necessary to become
successful in community employment. It creates opportunities
for individuals with disabilities to maximize work skills and
contribute to the economic strengths of the community.
